  • How safe is the cable car at Table Mountain? It is exceptionally safe. Operating since 1929, it undergoes rigorous daily, weekly, quarterly, and certified annual maintenance checks (often using specialised international engineers) to meet strict global safety standards.
  • What happens if the cable car closes? The Table Mountain Aerial Cableway shuts down instantly during extreme winds. If it closes while you’re hiking, your Guide will take you down a different route (like Platteklip Gorge), which adds a few hours to the trip.
  • How do I book a Trail and Taste hike? You’ll find an online booking link below. Select your activity, continue to the Guide selection page, and then continue to select your preferred date and group size. You may also add your trail of choice. Alternatively, reach out to us via WhatsApp with your date and group details and we’ll take it from there.
  • Do you provide preparation for the hike? Absolutely! We’ll create a dedicated WhatsApp chat with your group, and a detailed info pack will be shared upon booking.
